Over the last several years Jack De Marseille has asserted himself as one of the best DJ's in the worls. Having won over the most prestigeous clubs in Europe, he has now set out to conquer the USA. With a lot of experience and great taste it is great to have this first album of 12 original tracks from him. In every track Jack De Marseille knows exactly how far to drive the mids, where to drop in a keyboard line and when to lead the tune with a solid, live bassline. When using keyboards he does so tastefully and doesn't overdo it with the analogue sounds just because he happens to have some classic gear. Half way through too he's not afraid to drop the tempo down to a dub reggae feel then work his way back up to speed with some great break loops. Technically it's great. Aurally it's very exciting to hear the diversity of influences and gear he uses.
