* EQ's Balance presents Electric series is back after a short hiatus with the third installment, this time mixed by Sydney DJ Ben Korbel.
* Active in Sydney's dance scene for over a decade, Ben Korbel is one of Australia's most discerning DJs. His unique brand of future techno has slowly evolved into a genre unto itself, a sound that uses classic European techno, vintage progressive, crisp neo-electro and deep driving house as its bricks and mortar.
* In Australia, Ben has performed all the usual festival and club jaunts many a time, Sweet Chilli , Sounds on Sunday , Good Vibrations, Homebake, Future Music Festival, We Love Sounds and so on though finds it most rewarding playing alongside those who support new and exciting music styles, pushing the envelope so to speak. Sunny and Onesixone in Melbourne, Kinderspeil, Minimal Fuss and Deep As F*&! in Sydney come to mind. He has supported international heavy weights like Sasha and Danny Tenaglia to playing revered international clubs like Space, Weekend Club and The Cross .
* Much of Ben's time is also spent with his business partners, promoting festivals and touring artists through his companies, Sounds Group & Egg Group. Sounds are responsible for the annual We Love Sounds festival which tours Australia each June.
* A DJ set at the hands of Ben Korbel is a pleasure in any music lover's books. He brings with him the highest level of professionalism, coupled with a raw passion for what he does. That is why he has been, and will continue to be one of Australia's premier league DJs
