Description:
Based on a true story, a team of eight American oil workers are sent deep into the jungles of Ecuador to repair a burst oil pipeline. Just as they begin the repairs, they are attacked by heavily-armed Colombian guerillas and taken hostage with two other bilingual tourists. Forced at gunpoint, they constantly move through the dense snake and insect-infested jungle to avoid the Ecuadorian military, the hostages suffering through extreme exhaustion, hunger, sickness, depression and at every moment, potential death. It was supposed to be a simple two week repair then it became 100 Days in the Jungle.
