The connection to the aforementioned is quality as The Acacia Strain are a far heavier, darker entity than all that have come before. The Acacia Strain are a barrage of metal, hardcore and pure heaviness in a similar vein to Neurosis. Their live set has been compared to a cinematic war scene and listening to the album it’s frightening to image the songs played with anymore intensity.
