Saxman KARL DENSON (who has played with LENNY KRAVITZ) leads a great set of funky jazzy grooves. This was a classic album when it first came out in ’97 and it’s still a classic now. Guests include FRED WESLEY (of the JB’s, James Brown’s band) and ELGIN PARK. FRED WESLEY, who writes the liner notes, compares ZAK NAJOR’S drumming to that of Jabo, Steve Gadd and Harvey Mason.
