"Make no mistake about it, we are a revolutionary, anti-capitalist, Marxist, Communist rock band," The (International) Noise Conspiracy lead singer Dennis Lyxzen says. The Swedish quartet, hailed by the Los Angeles Times as, "rock's most politically radical band," definitely has something to say. Following in a tradition from Dylan to Springsteen, Marley to the Clash, Lennon to Rage Against The Machine, INC imbue their songs with politics, passion, and the balls to stand up and be counted. Like those acts though, INC use rock as the vehicle to deliver their message.
The Rick Rubin-produced Armed Love, the group's third proper American full-length album, following the critically lauded Survival Sickness and A New Morning, Changing Weather on Epitaph, captures the fist-pumping live energy that has earned the group spots on the Warped Tour and the prestigious Coachella festival multiple times, as well as an invitation to this summer's Lollapalooza soiree in Chicago. Everywhere INC goes, Lyxzen invites fans to put on their dancing shoes and shake their hips, a request that concertgoers are powerless to decline when confronted with INC's high-energy R&B meets punk-rock attack.
