* Balance 013 sees the UK's hottest DJ alliance SOS, deliver an epic, three-disc masterpiece.
* Comprising the inimitable talents and musical prowess of London's Desyn Masiello, Demi and Omid 16B, SOS have been turning heads and moving feet to critical acclaim since bursting onto the world's radar back in 2004. As friends, producers, DJs, label owners, Demi, Desyn and Omid are three of the most passionate talents working in electronic music today.
* Desyn is a globally revered DJ/Producer who is not only an infamous ambassador for underground sounds (and previous Balance hero!), but also the mastermind and co-owner of labels like Alternative Route, Symphonic and Sexonwax .
* Omid (16B) is a sought-after musician who has released no less than three critically acclaimed artist albums (as ‘16B'), on top of being head honcho of the iconic Alola, Disclosure and Sexonwax labels.
* Demi is a globetrotting DJ who also happens to be the brains behind the uber-cool Deeper Substance parties and record label.
* Balance 013 marks the first time the trio has committed their energetic and eclectic sound to CD, and the result is nothing short of mind-blowing. SOS have painstakingly programmed and pieced together a three-disc opus using many of their signature re-edits, top-drawer treasures from underground troves, and a few surprises out of left field.
* Featuring a spot-on selection of sounds from yesterday, today and tomorrow's electronic maestros (including the eclectic likes of Inner City, Aphex Twin, Burnski, Bryan Ferry, Speedy J, Aeroplane and Joris Voorn), Balance 013 is a masterful soundscape that's crafted to intoxicate.
* On Disc One the SOS sound snakes cleverly between cosmic dub, spaced out disco, hypnotic grooves ambient breakbeats and all things house. It's a playground perfect for the more experimental shades of SOS's palette. The next disc continues where the first left off & then passes through the deepest analogue territories before hitting the acid funk running. After an infusion of twisted, percussive techno, the energy flow reaches a climax before dropping back two decades to the timeless party sounds of Inner City's ‘Big Fun'.The final disc is every bit as epic and compelling. It's also more club-orientated, with tracks cherry-picked from a brotherhood of underground talents.
