Description:
* In true block-party style, Melbourne DJ Agent 86 plays Hip-Hop, House, Techno, Rock, Electro, Pop, Breaks, Disco, New-Wave, Funk, RnB and just about anything & everything in-between and outside of the box.
* His wide musical palette has led to him sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the music industry including James Brown, DJ Shadow, Moloko, Booka Shade, Jeff Mills, Gangstarr, Soul II Soul, Peaches and countless others.
* Beginning in Adelaide in 1989, he held down numerous memorable residencies, worked at Central Station Records, entered the DMC & ITF DJ Battles, hosted a radio show and began producing & releasing music.
* Following a stint in Europe, he moved to Melbourne at the end of 2000 and has since gone on to produce several notable releases, start the infamous "Roxy" club and become a headline DJ throughout Melbourne and, indeed, Australia.
* His DJ sets have been described as "the stuff of legend", he was voted joint winner of Impress' Best Local Live Act of 2007 and has had people such as Q-Bert & Pharell pay their respects to his talent.
* At this moment in time, he's busy DJ'ing no less than 5 nights per week & squeezing in some time in the studio to work on some upcoming releases as well as working on an album.
* On Electric 04 he playing a mixture of old school electro funk, house, tech , cosmic disco, electronica & features tracks & mixes from Aeroplane, Putsch 79, Spektrum, Greg Wilson, Miguel Migs, Spiritcatcher & more.
