BAUHAUS are the founding fathers of goth rock, creating a minimalist, gloomy style of postpunk rock driven by jagged guitar chords and cold, distant synthesizers.

Originally, the band was called Bauhaus 1919 after the German art movement; by 1979, they had dropped the 1919 from their name.

'Shadow Of Light' contains the original Bauhaus promotional videos and live performances recorded at the old VIC theatre, London in 1982. There are 19 songs features in all including the classic goth anthem, "Bela Lugosi's Dead".
