Alyce is also known to the music world. Her last CD, 'Cowboys In The Attic', which appeared in the indie music charts in 2000 under the name of 'Bakers Daughter', received critical acclaim and sparked international interest, leading to gigs at the 'Mink' and 'The Gig' on Melrose in L.A. in 2001.

Beautiful Death is a collection of song's FROM the past seven years. This recording bega in April 2003 with J.P.Shilo and Glenn Lewis at 'The Ormond Estate'. In April 2002 Alyce performed at a benefit for the Dalai Lama with J.P.Shilo and Kathryn Mckee. As a result of that performance they recorded, 'Still the mind' , which was the catalyst for this ALBUM.

The music originates from folk and evolves into an organic sound scape of gnarly guitars, lush string orchestrations and loose hypnotic beats. A truly exciting and challenging musical collaboration. An intriguing journey that creeps up on you and goes places you least expect!
