Skint Records have been innovators in music for 15 years and recently they have also been leading the way with their attitude to bootleg mixes. Most labels would not respond favourably if they saw an illegal version of one of their records being openly sold on download sites by another label - but when Skint spotted a bootleg version of Fatboy Slim's 'What The Fuck' sitting at the top of the Beatport chart back in 2007 they didn't call in the lawyers, but instead called the creator of the bootleg mix - in this case Funkagenda - and offered to release his mix officially. From that moment on Skint kept their ears open to the myriad of Fatboy Slim unofficial remixes that appeared on the internet and made only the best ones available officially. 'Best of the Bootlegs' gathers all these tracks together for the first time on CD and features superb mixes from the new breed of producers including Fedde Le Grand, Koen Groeneveld, Riva Starr, Thomas Gold and includes the exclusive new version of Gangster Trippin by Lazy Rich.
