* As it's title would lead one to believe, Blitzen Trapper's Black River Killer EP contains the disturbing and great song Black River Killer taken from the bands September 2008 full-length album Furr. What is perhaps less evident from the title is that it also contains 6 more songs that have been, up to now, only available as a CDR that Blitzen Trapper has been selling at their live performances for the past year or so.
* Blitzen Trapper is a group of native Northwesterners, most of whom grew up in Salem, Oregon. They have lived and played together in Portland since 2000. Thanks to the strong media support surrounding Furr and their debut album Wild Mountain Nation in June of 2007, the group have built a strong Australian fan base and will venture to our shores in November this year.
