‘Blood, Looms & Blooms’ marks the eagerly awaited return of LEILA after 8 years of absence. Born from home recordings, organic processes, and friends dropping by as much as collaborators, the album veers from deeply atmospheric to light, vocal-led melodies.

Here Leila collaborates with many of her friends. Her sister ROYA ARAB, her friend LUCA SANTUCCI, KHEMAHL and TAON RICHARDSON the children of her friend DONNA PAUL, plus MARTINA TOPLEY BIRD (TRICKY), TERRY HALL (THE SPECIALS) and ANDY COX all came round to sing & play. Features the amazing ‘Mettle’ which was DJ MAG’s Single Of The Month; the vibrant, beat-driven track ‘Deflect’ with the stunning & sublime vocals from MARTINA TOPLEY-BIRD (TRICKY) as the 2nd single which is MIXMAG’s Single Of The Month and a cover of THE BEATLES ‘Norwegian Wood’.
