No other DVD collection offers Pavarotti exclusively in staged performances. Classic excerpts include arias, duets and ensembles from operas including La Bohème, La traviata, Lucia di Lammermoor, Rigoletto, and L'elisir d'amore. Joining the great tenor are international stars who sang with him throughout his long career, including Joan Sutherland and Renata Scotto. The performances are conducted by the Metropolitan Opera's music director James Levine and Richard Bonynge, who both played central roles in Luciano Pavarotti's operatic career. Includes the first-ever availability of the two beloved Tosca arias (Recondita armonia and E lucevan le stelle). Also, the complete MET Tosca, with Luciano Pavarotti and Shirley Verrett, will be released on DVD simultaneously with ‘Bravo Pavarotti’.
