Description:
THE BRONX are a new act out of Los Angeles who are causing a major fuss amongst punters, media and record labels alike.
Explosive punk rock played with amazing ferocity and passion.and we aint talking pretty boy, radio friendly, choreographed jumps punk rock either - this is hurtling tempos, throat-tearing vocals, meter-shifting guitar riffs all played real loud.
The first single lifted from this their debut album - FALSE ALARM was instantly add to TRIPLE J HIGH ROTATION.
Rave reviews of this album are rolling in daily; "the explosive new foursome is from LA, where the buzz is approaching a deafening roar." say the LOS ANGELES TIMES and ROLLING STONE named them as ONE OF THE TEN BANDS TO WATCH IN 2003 - last year they named The Vines, 50 Cent and Cody Chestnutt.
The Bronx debut self-titled full length was recorded in a live setting with Gilby Clarke (GUNS'N'ROSES) . Equipment was set up in a room, large pieces of foam were placed between the amplifiers and drum kit to keep the different instruments from bleeding together, some mics were stood up and someone pressed record. They didn't even use headphones. The way it sounds live is the way it is going to be heard.
The Australian pressing also features a BONUS TRACK Los Angeles.
