On May 30, 1957, Buddy Guy recorded his first demo in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Four months later he took a train to Chicago. Over the course of the next 50 years –from his early Chess sessions with Muddy Waters to his legendary collaboration with Junior Wells to present day sessions with John Mayer and Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy would go on to influence generation after generation of guitar players.
