Description:
Australia's most exciting new surf rock outfit THE BREAK deliver a power packed set on their debut album 'Church Of The Open Sky'. A mind blowing experience as classic surf meets spy-fi psychedelia when the three core members of Midnight Oil; drummer Rob Hirst, guitarists Jim Moginie and Martin Rotsey, joined with bass player Brian Ritchie of Violent Femmes for a whole new and contemporary approach to the surf music genre.

Three former members of Midnight Oil join forces with the cofounder of Violent Femmes and unleash an almighty sound. The Break is Rob Hirst, Martin Rotsey, Jim Moginie and Brian Ritchie. According to the band - "Just what is this music? The soundtrack for a surf spaghetti western. Surf & Turf in Orbit. Dr Strangelove on a longboard. Link Wray meets James Bond meets the Midnight Femmes." However you describe it, it's definitely five-star talent and thunder all the way to the beach.
