The Motels were a New Wave band from LA fronted by Martha Davis who had a number of massive hits in the early 1980s, including Total Control, Only The Lonely, Suddenly Last Summer, Shame and Take The L.

Total Control reached Number 7 in 1980, Only The Lonely peaked at 28 in 1982, Take The L peaked at 21 in 1982, Suddenly Last Summer peaked at 34 in 1983 and Shame peaked at 18 in 1985.

Clean Modern and Reasonable is the first international title in the Liberation Blue Acoustic Series, and features acoustic versions of all their hits.
