DUB FOR STRAIGHTS is a 1993, seven-track release by Salmonella Dub featuring "Cincinnati Kid" and "John Banks." - Recorded in Bob's Magic Carpet warehouse, Woolston, Christchurch (except for "Regi Flute" which was recorded live), these early tracks show the Salmonella Dub blueprint in an intriguing light, and make you realise the early focus and drive this band possessed.

Obviously rawer and less technology based than their recent efforts, these early recordings still have a definite bouncing charm and quality to them, and ultimately will be a pleasurable discovery for their many legions of fans.
