Description:
It's hard to believe that after almost 10 years in the drum & bass game that this is the debut album from DJ FRESH, AKA FRESH BC.
It covers pretty much every shade of D&B there is, from jazzy to tear out to deeper styles with influences coming from hip hop, electro, jazz, reggae & even metal! On top of that it also has an incredible list of guest stars. MARY BYKER of APOLLO 440 features on guitar & vocals on the very radio friendly first single "Nervous", top notch D&B MCs DARRISON & SINGING FATS drop (and sing) lyrics, there is a very rare guest appearance from PENDULUM on "Babylon Rising", DJ SHADOW collaborates on the amazing "Closer" (a track that is reminiscent of his drum & bass experiments on his own 'Endtroducing' & 'Private Press' albums), and even the PET SHOP BOY'S NEIL TENNANT sings on the introspective closer, "Throw".
