Frenzal Rhomb have gone bonkers - this new release is going to have the long term Rhomb fan jumping for joy.
The new CD features all the hits they've been keeping from you for years, including the band's first ever EP DICK SANDWICH. In it's original form, it sparked reviews like this: "great songs but it sounds like it was recorded under a doona". However, this version has been lovingly restored by producer Phil McKellar (Grinspoon, Silverchair), who has remixed the original masters to bring out more of the bloody and offensive glory that launched Frenzal and had them banned from radio and retail back in the early 90's. DICK SANDWICH is a true classic, including songs like CHEMOTHERAPY, RICHER THAN YOU, HOME AND AWAY and the band's tribute to former Sydney newsreader (I wish I was as credible as) ROGER CLIMPSON.
Also features Frenzal's first ever album COUGHING UP A STORM, which has not been available for purchase in several years. These songs brought Frenzal to early international attention, when the Fattest man in history, Fat Mike from NOFX, had a listen and declared Frenzal good enough for Fat Wreck Chords. The band have pushed the limits of CD technology and stuffed the maximum possible amount of rare and hard to find gear onto this disc, including great b sides, compilation tracks and other drunken rantings.
