Description:
The legendary Jean-Paul Belmondo set the standard as the suave and sexy French action man of the 1960s. He could do it all?win the fight, seduce the girl, save the day, and all with a lit cigarette clasped between his teeth. Three of Belmondo's greatest roles are collected here together for the first time:

MODERATO CANTABILE (1960):
Directed by the incomparable Peter Brook (LORD OF THE FLIES), MODERATO CANTABILE focuses on Anne (Jeanne Moreau), a wealthy, bored housewife who believes she has witnessed a murder in a quayside bistro. Rushing to the scene of the crime, she strikes up a conversation with Chauvin (Jean-Paul Belmondo), an employee of her husband who also saw the crime. The troubled woman continues to return to the caf?, increasingly identifying herself with the murder victim and becoming obsessed with Chauvin.

A MAN CALLED LA ROCCA (1961):
Roberto goes to Marseilles to give a hand to his friend Xavier, wrongly imprisoned following a frame-up organized by his associate Villanova. Roberto sets out to seduce Villanova's mistress. When Villanova is killed, Roberto ends up leader of the band.

WEEKEND AT DUNKIRK (1964):
June 1940. On the beaches of Dunkerque which have been mercilessly shelled by German bombardments, thousands of French and English soldiers are waiting to depart for England. Julien abandons his three friends to attempt to embark at Bray-Dunes with the English aboard a freighter. He manages by the skin of his teeth to escape from the ship as it bursts into flames and has to swim to the shore. He finds Jeanne, and kills two soldiers who were trying to rape her. Later, when they decide to flee together, Julien is killed in a bomb attack.
