Ryko/Restless proudly announces the re-issue of the record that launched one of the longest-running, notable and riotous cult careers in recent music history, God Ween Satan The Oneness. Originally released in 1990 on Twin-Tone Records, the self-proclaimed 'masterwork' 26-song double record was produced by Andrew Weiss (then the bass player in the Rollins Band) in his living room.

The Ween saga began in 1984, when Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo met in 8th grade typing class at New Hope-Solebury High School in Pennsylvania. Both were making home recordings at the time and began swapping records from their collections. The boys were then visited by the 'fictitious' demon-god BOOGNISH, prompting them to form WEEN and assume the alter egos Dean and Gene Ween.
