Description:
It would be hard for a hastily put together blues compilation like this one to live up to its title-and it doesn't. That said, despite no rhyme nor reason in compiling these tracks, there isn't a weak one in the bunch, and some of these performances are down right sizzling-check B.B. King's "Recession Blues," and "Memphis Minnie's "Me And My Chauffer," for just two examples. Despite the budget package and the randomness of its scope, this is cheap and every track is a winner.
