Description:
Now more than a decade into a recording career that's yielded a wealth of highly individualistic, boundary-defying music, Cracker -- anchored by the longstanding creative core of singer/guitarist David Lowery and his longtime band mate and composing partner, guitarist Johnny Hickman -- has carved out a singular musical niche, consistently obeying its own unpredictable muse while defying many of the music industry's conventional ground rules. Lowery won widespread acclaim as the leader of Camper Van Beethoven, the seminal Santa Cruz combo whose free-spirited -- and, at the time, radical -- genre-hopping played a significant role in broadening the horizons of '80s alternative rock. Hello Cleveland! - Live From The Metro is the bands first ever live album. All tracks were recorded at the Metro, Chicago on 20th November 1999 and the album features classic songs such as Low, Teen Angst, Big Dipper, Seven Days, Around The World and Sweet Thistle Pie. Also included on the CD are bonus video tracks of Guarded by Monkeys, Forever, Merry Christmas and Emily Shine.
