Description:
* Abscess hail from Oakland, California and started life in 1994. Chris Reifert & Danny Coralles are both founding members of late 80's/early 90's US gore metal band 'Autopsy' who were signed to Peaceville for 4 albums.
*Chris also started his career in the 80's with the highly influential extreme metal band 'Death'. Abscess released several cassette demo/live recordings before their debut album, the seminal 'Urine Junkies' CD in 1995.
*Horrorhammer is their seventh full-length album. It was recorded in late June 2006 and features 12 tracks of filthy punk fuelled death. It was recorded by long time cohort Adam Munoz at Prairie Sun Studios, where Possessed recorded the classic 'Seven Churches' album.
