Ludovico's Band, named after the influential 16th-century harpist, is directed by two of Australia's leading exponents of early plucked instruments, Marshall McGuire and Tommie Andersson. They specialise in Renaissance and early Baroque repertoire performed on rare and beautiful period instruments, highlighting the unique sound world they create. This album features Spanish and Italian pieces which will transport you to a world of minstrels and courtly love.
