Description:
After almost 4 years The Levellers return with a brand new genre-defining studio album on their own label On The Fiddle Recordings. Although the band are lucky enough to have a loyal fanbase of at least 30,000 people, new fans are joining up every day having heard the band for the first time on My space or recently seen them on tour.
Musically and lyrically the album conveys a passion, energy and conviction that shot the band to fame in their early years. Produced by Sean Lakeman who the band met when touring with Sean's brother, Seth Lakeman. Album was recorded in the Levellers own Metway studios in Brighton and mixed in New York by James Brown who has recently worked with NIN and Placebo.
Fresh from a sell-out 20th Anniversary show at Brixton Academy, the Levellers are set for a very busy summer playing the new tracks, and old favourites, to festival crowds across the UK including Glastonbury, Cambridge folk festival & their own Beautiful Days event in Devon.
