Paul Anka has enjoyed many successful aspects to his career, as a singer, songwriter and actor and still continues to find new glories. He first hit the charts in 1957 with Diana, a song about his babysitter that is one of the best selling singles of all time. Hit followed hit, enabling Paul to branch out into acting, with The Longest Day perhaps his best known film, and songwriting, where he gave My Way to Frank Sinatra, a song that was supposed to be a sign-off for Ol' Blue Eyes but was so successful it resurrected his career! Paul remains a regular performer in the clubs and hotels around Las Vegas, where this album was recorded, delighting the audience, both young and old, with versions of his own material and updates on old classics.
