Nearly 40 years ago on August 31, 1970, Leonard Cohen took the stage at The Isle Of Wight Music Festival at 2 am in the morning. The 600,000 audience was in fiery and frenzied mood as Cohen followed Hendrixs set. The other performers watched in awe as Cohen tamed and mesmerized the crowd.
