Recorded live during their "GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INSANE" tour in 1978. Skyhooks were in blistering form with their new guitarist Bob Spencer leading them into a heavy golden future. LIVE!BE IN IT (a parody of an Australian Health catchphrase, LIFE!BE IN IT) shows what a hard, tight band Skyhooks were. Not only did they play past hits (ALL MY FRIENDS ARE GETTING MARRIED, WOMEN IN UNIFORM, SMARTARSE SONGWRITERS, MERCEDES LADIES), but previewed new tracks (SITTING AT A BAR IN ADELAIDE, BONDAGE ON THE BOULEVARD) and performed first rate covers (WILD IN THE STREETS, BROWN SUGAR). LIVE!BE IN IT also proved that Skyhooks were able to spoof themselves (SEX IS NOT A DIRTY WORD, THE BRUCE SUITE, and THE KABOODLESCHNITZER KOMMERCIALS).
