Description:
When the David Guettas, Prydas and Diddys of the world were still in diapers, Robert Hood and his mates, a certain Mad Mike Banks and Jeff Mills were busy changing the future of electronic music forever. Following his contribution to dance with Mills and Banks as Detroit’s massively influential Underground Resistance, Robert Hood is deservingly considered one of the founders of minimal techno. Still pushing things forward 20 years on Minimal Nation (original released in 1994) is available again for the first time in many years, illustrating a musical philosophy and electronic soul light years ahead of it’s time.
