It's been ten years already, since the Polish Jacek Sienkiewicz established his Recognition label, and six years since 'Téchnč', his first full length artists album for Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings. The Warsaw-Frankfurt connection seems to work quite well, as you are about to experience Jacek's astonishing mix CD/compilation. For the last ten years Jacek has been carving his very own niche in this genre formerly known as Techno. Paying respect to the classic masters of the Detroit sound, he has never followed formulas and has always focussed on both expanding and questioning the music that we know. From the ominous sounding melodic stabs of 'Eastern Promises' down to the dance floor filling minimal beats of 'Never Landing Story', this is the sound of a producer who has found his sound, a sound that is honest and brutally precise in its delivery.
