A Day in Life the was formed in 2001 by lead singer JT Woodruff. ADITL quickly started taking over the local scene in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio and soon found a partner in Confined Records. This partnership lead to the album "Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye". Over the course of the next two years ADITL went through many line up changes and in the spring of 2003 the band changed their name to HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS and signed to Victory Records in late 2003. In the past two years Hawthorne Heights has become one of the hottest in America and has scanned over 1 million albums. "Nine Reason to Say Goodbye" shows the raw natural talent of Woodruff and gives an early glimpse of what would become Hawthorne Heights. This is the debut album on Carbon Copy Media, a new label formed by JT and partner Mark Daily.
