Description:
It has been two years since the release of "Armchair Apocrypha" which rose Mr. Bird to the upper eshalons of the indie world with it's 100,000 + sales in the US and major festival performances at Coachella and Lollapollooza. "Noble Beast" his newest work is a self-produced album (written over the past year on his travels to Australia and New Zealand and of course on the chicken farm) consisting of 14 original songs. It was recorded primarily at the Beech House in Nashville (with Mark Nevers). As usual, Bird handles violin, vocals, whistling and guitar, with back-up from live cohorts Martin Dosh (percussion, looping, keys), and Jeremy Ylvisaker (guitar, bass, organ, shortwave).
