The film stars multiple award winner Angela Bassett as Christopher’s mother Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean Combs, Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur and introducing Jamal Woolard as The Notorious B.I.G.

The soundtrack includes a handful of Biggie classics and a remix of 1995’s “One More Chance” featuring guest vocals from Biggie's 12-year-old son, Christopher "CJ" Wallace.

The lead single from the soundtrack is “Brooklyn Go Hard" — a Kanye West-produced collaboration between Jay-Z and hip rocker Santogold.

The soundtrack features several unheard demos from Biggie’s early career.
