Description:
Opal Dream is a funny, uplifting and touching film set in the Australian opal-mining hub of Coober Pedy. Nine-year-old Kellyanne Williamson (Sapphire Boyce) has only two playmates. Their names are Pobby and Dingan, they like lollipops, and they're invisible to everyone else. When her opal miner dad, Rex (Vince Colosimo), takes them to the mine with him one day and accidentally leaves them behind, Kellyanne is convinced they are dead and insists he go back and look for them. As the entire community bands together in a search for Pobby and Dingan, they share in the magic of a child's belief in the unseen.
