This CD contains one hour of rare and intriguing Jim Morrison (captured backstage at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival) and his compatriots (captured some years later in a London radio studio). It illuminates, through his words and those who worked alongside him, a man whose poetry was thoughtful and compelling, laden with dark images from the far recesses of a troubled mind.

Issued by arrangement with the BBC and legendary British author and broadcaster John Tobler, Opening The Doors Of Perception contains no musical performances and is not an Elektra, WEA or Warner Music release. It is comprised of interviews and press conferences only. It features explanatory notes and rare photographs.
