* Alfredo has a legendary status in Ibiza & internationally. Ibiza as we know it would not be the same without this man. The famous story of Paul Oakenfold and Danny Rampling going on holiday to Ibiza in the 1980's and stumbling across Alfredo playing one of his eclectic sets at Amnesia is one of the most important moments in house music history. He combined Chicago House, Funk, Soul and Disco; fusing them into a completely new style of danceable music: Balearic House as we know it was born.
* Alfredo and his sets are the stuff of legend and here he presents us with a piece of musical history. An authentic set of what he was playing in Amnesia just before the house music explosion happened.
* Disc One sees an incredible mix of music starting with Henry Mancini's, Pink Panther, Art of Noise, Yellow Mna, Soul to Soul, Tears for Fears and many more. Disc two is early Acid house all the way featuring such releases from Fingers Inc, Guy Called Gerald, Richie Rich, Joe Smooth, KC Flight, Ritchie Havens and more.
* With a 16 page booklet and writing inner sleeve notes by Bill Brewster this album really is a piece of dance music history. Album was mixed with the original LP's he used in 1987. All Vinyl Crackles are part of the recording and add an honesty to the recorded mix and sounds as intended!
