Description:
When The Getaway Plan released Other Voices, Other Rooms in February 2008, they were still a young band barely out of high school. As the story goes, the album was a huge success for the band, with Triple J's loyalty soon being followed by commercial radio and TV play, and an eventual spot on Big Day Out 2009. Shortly after, the success got to the band, and they announced a final tour which included an amazing 6 sold out shows in a row at Melbourne's Hifi venue.
Now, as the band are back together with their loyalty solidly intact, The Getaway Plan is once again a name Australian's can be proud of. They are currently recording with three time grammy award winning producer David Bottril (Muse, Silverchair, Tool) and are gearing up for a second go round late 2011 and a massive 2012.
