My Disco's highly anticipated sophmore album, Paradise will be released 23rd of February 2008. Recorded in Chicago at Electrical Audio Studio, sound engineer extraordinaire Steve Albini (Pixies, Mono, PJ Harvey, The Stooges) has captured My Disco’s minimal yet intricate sound perfectly.
Well known for their precise and flawless live performances, the Melbourne three piece have been building a strong following since they formed in 2003, headlining their own shows and playing support to international bands such as Battles, Mogwai, Death From Above, Comets On Fire and Deerhoof.
In 2006 they left their mark on the Australian music scene with the release of their debut album Cancer, from which stemmed an abundance of glowing reviews and radio support, sold out album launches in Melbourne and Sydney, plus extensive tours of Australia and abroad.
Expect to hear much more from My Disco in 2008.
