Description:
Robbie Williams returns on November 9th after a 3 year break with his eighth studio album Reality Killed The Video Star, and its one of the most anticipated Pop CDs of 2009 where well see if he can reclaim his success after the relatively poorly received Rudebox album. Since his exit from Take That Robbie has sold more albums in the UK than any other solo artist with sales in excess of 55 million, and is in the Guinness Book Of Records for selling the most amount of concert tickets in 1 day when he sold 1.6 million in 24 hours. Its safe to say this is set to be one of the biggest comebacks this year.
Reality Killed The Video Star see Robbie team up with producer Trevor Horn (Pet Shop Boys, Seal, Frankie Goes To Hollywood etc.), as well as writing songs Mark Ronson as well as a reunion with Guy Chambers who has worked with him since the early albums. The album is described by Robbie as buzzing, it sounds big. Very, very big! as well as "My album's a killer: old Robbie, new Robbie and a Robbie that neither of us have met... I really hope it's as good as I think it is.....We'll see... I'm sure you'll let me know". The first track taken from the new album will be Bodies.
