Naked Music burst onto the scene in 1998 with their now-classic debut album, What's On Your Mind. These forward thinking musicians would go on to create a legacy that would change the landscape of electronic music over the following ten years.
The label Naked Music Recordings was first realized in 1999 Albums from Blue Six, Miguel Migs and Aquanote & compilations such as Nude Dimensions, Carte Blanche & Bare Essentials took the dance music community by storm. From their design aesthetic to their smooth signature deep house and downtempo grooves, Naked carved out a unique niche in the electronic music world that has won a place in the hearts of DJ's and clubbers alike.
With Re Creation , the creative collective, fronted by Jay Denes (aka Blue Six) deliver a stylistic journey though the moods and sounds for which the legendary imprint is known - a beautiful new album for all of Naked Music's devoted fans, and very accessibleto any new listeners who enjoy smooth house grooves and soulful vibes.
Imbued with a new level of intensity throughout its downtempo jams, the album also showcases the eclectic soundscapes that Naked Music is known for: an alluring mixture of Soul, Brazilian, Electronic, and Dance music.
Since establishing their namesake label, Denes has been responsible for much of Naked Music's output in recent years (Beautiful Tomorrow, Aquarian Angel), not to mention his much lauded remixes for such artists as Sade and Maxwell.
