Alkaline Trio was brought together in Chicago in 1997 and started making a name for themselves all throughout the Midwest with their emotion-fuelled, angst-ridden, dark pop-punk. Their latest release Remains is a collection of 22 tracks the band has recorded for various compilations, EP's, B-sides and international releases over the past five years. Also included are three new live tracks from a 2006 concert at Avalon in Los Angeles.

The release also features a DVD that includes 45 minutes of material, including all the band's videos from From Here To Infirmary, Good Mourning, and the bands latest album, 2005's Crimson.Exclusive b-rolland behind the scenes footage from the band's live shows and never before seen clips of the band backstage atvarious shows is included.
