SacrificeDeadsoil
Description:
The highly anticipated follow-up to their astounding Lifeforce debut "The Venom Divine," DEADSOIL shatter all expectations and rise above the masses to create one of 2006's most brutal assaults! Having a strong background within the German metal and hardcore scene DEADSOIL was founded in 2002 by ex-members of COPYKILL and former Nuclear Blast-artists NIGHT IN GALES. The original line-up was completed by friends from SIX REASONS TO KILL, GOMORRHA and DRIFT, before the debut MCD "Forever The Enemy" (Poisonfree Records) was unleashed in June 2003. DEADSOIL's signing to LIFEFORCE RECORDS was followed by the first full length "The Venom Divine" that created a stunning buzz around the five-piece and even gained the attention of HATEBREED's Jamey Jasta, who told DEADSOIL, who was quoted in saying DEADSOIL would be one of the most promising acts in the worldwide hardcore scene. Solidifying their new found status, DEADSOIL were asked to be a part of the "NewBornHate" tour along side HATESPHERE and BORN FROM PAIN in 2004. DEADSOIL's trade mark sound is mixing the best ingredients of metal and hardcore while constantly staying brutal, aggressive and harsh. Their second album "Sacrifice", recorded at Principal Studios (CALIBAN, WATERDOWN) and mixed by Jean-Francois Dagenais (KATAKLYSM), proves just this. Think of THE HAUNTED and DEW-SCENTED teaming up with HATEBREED and BURY YOUR DEAD to create heavy kick ass songs. Beyond the limits of any genre, DEADSOIL are connecting their highly proficient musical skill with their patented precise metal sound with the aggressive instincts found in the tough side of hardcore in order to take both genres to another level. This is exactly what "Sacrifice" is all about, this is the real deal! For fans of: TRIVIUM, HATEBREED, UNEARTH, BURY YOUR DEAD Details:
