In 2007, the sun continues to shine on the Summer Cats' debut release, Scratching Post. Their fizzy pop guitar and rousing vocal harmonies reveal varied influences, including everything from The Go Betweens to Stereolab and The Modern Lovers. However one thing's for sure. when the cats come out to play, the pop is here to stay! Together since mid 2006 and featuring former Earthmen lead singer Scott Stevens, this effervescent girl/boy 5 piece are delighted to announce the release of their debut Australian EP, Scratching Post, through Popboomerang Records.
