Primal Scream’s seminal album “Screamadelica” defined a generation. It’s mix of rock, dance, dub, gospel and more caught the zeitgeist of the early nineties to perfection and it went on to win the inaugural Mercury Music Prize in 1992 and consistently be named as “Best Album Of The Nineties” and appear in numerous “All Time Best Albums” lists.This show, filmed on November 26th 2010 at London’s Olympia, was the first time that Primal Scream had performed the whole album live and it became one of the “must see” gigs of the year.The band was accompanied by a brass section and a gospel choir with back projections specially created for the event. The result was a stunning musical and visual triumph and proved, if it needed to be, that ’Screamadelica’ is one of the finest albums ever made and that Primal Scream are one of the truly great live bands.The band came to Australia on Big Day Out 2011 and toured the set, as well as playing major club shows. All reports were that the shows were amazing.Bonus Features: The 40 minute / 8 track rock set that opened the show featuring classic Primal Scream tracks including 'Country Girl', 'Rocks', 'Jailbird', 'Swastika Eyes' and more.
