As a band, Six60 originally formed while at University in Dunedin in 2008. Inspired by the vibrant culture of soul, rock and bass heavy electronica that defined late 2000s student life down south. Blending soul, rock, dubstep and drum and bass, their music is as dynamic, versatile and unexpected as their back story. Six60 now have to their credit in NZ, two double platinum singles 'Rise Up 2.0' and 'Don't Forget Your Roots', one platinum single 'Only To Be' and a triple platinum # 1 debut album, now released in Australia to coincide with Six60’s fourth national tour here.
