Skitz Mix 40

Not many artists can boast 4 album releases. How many can say they've commercially released 40? Some Platinum, some gold, Skitzmix have ALL  hit the Top 10 . The Skitzmix series has been around so long it's easy to be complacent. We should mark this release as a milestone not just for Nick Skitz, but for the entire Australian Music industry. Having been at the forefront of the dance scene for over 20 years, Nick has broken so many artists on these shores we couldn't begin to list them. Whilst Nick was cutting his teeth behind the decks, most of the current DJ producers in the 100 were still running around in nappy's (some still are). Does than mean Skitzmix has lost any of it's sparkle? Clearly not, Skitzmix is still reaching the same number of fans it did 5....10....15 years ago. 

Why? Since the early 90's Nick Skitz and the Skitzmix series has been wowing fans with a particular dance sound that no other brand or series has been able to replicate. Probably the most consistent iconic Australian dance brand around, Skitzmix  is a lifestyle to thousands of Australian's who hunger for each new edition. So much so the fans were nicknamed the "Skitz Army" back in 2000 as they pestered retailers for information on the next release.

Not many Australian artists have sold over 1 Million albums, yet the Skitzmix series and Nick Skitz go relatively unsung by Media despite 5 gold albums, 39 Aria top 10 albums, one #1 ARIA Single and 4 top 20 singles. Not that Nick minds too much. He's quite happy to remain commercially underground, catering for his hardcore fan-base at his weekly sell out shows around the country. 

Skitz Mix 40 is a special 3xcd edition sporting the sounds of now, a classics mixed disc featuring all the biggest  Skitzmix anthems and a special first time cd release of  artist megamixes from the leading names on the scene. The Skitz Army are going to go ballistic!
