HANDSOME FURS are Canadian husband and wife duo - Dan Boeckner (of Wolf Parade) and Alexei Perry. After signing to Sub Pop in late 2006, the duo have released two acclaimed albums and toured extensively across the globe, including an impressive Australian tour in 2009. SOUND KAPITAL is an album that echoes early-80's synthpop groups such as OMD and Depeche Mode, with definite nods to the Eastern-Bloc electronic and industrial scene the band were influenced by during their travels. 'Sound Kapital' is the first Handsome Furs album written exclusively on keyboards though guitars are still heavily prominent in the recording.
